The cops acted totaly in a fair way. The man resited arrest, he grew increasingly hostile. He lunged at the officer, regardless of being held down (he could break away, then you have an injured officer) so he was tased.

Thank you CPD for keeping an event safe.

But seriously, those of you saying "cowards" what do you expect? Do you expect a cop to wrestle with the man? That is not going to happen.

@mikewilliams784 was in Junior High - it was all because of these stupid ass Liberal parents (brute would be a good example) that got all butthurt over their kids getting a few slams on the ass. In my elementary school, it was somewhere between 5 and 10 whacks with a wooden paddle, depending on what we did. Since then, kids have been going downhill. It's no wonder - they have people like brute here to defend them.

@jonbert4014 We need to get back to the days of corporal punishment. Perhaps a few whacks on the bare ass in public will embarrass these people enough to where they won't want to do it again. In the old days, Europeans had a similar punishment where they would put criminals in what's called a pillory (that's one of those wooden things where you put the criminals head and arms into a wooden shackle, and lock it shut.)

@bruteinazootsuit There have been a few deaths caused by taser but there have been FAR more due to police inflicted gunshot wounds. Grow the fuck up. If this kid would have done what he was supposed to he would never have put himself in the position of getting tased anyway. Next your gonna say police should beg criminals to give up?  Or, maybe they should buy them flowers and candies and surprise them into giving up?

It does however have everything to do with the officer being able to subdue a subject without killing them. Personally any asshole who resists the police should just be shot in the fucking head and disposed of. Clearly they are not going to help this earth any. If you think you are being unfairly prosecuted by the police the go to court do not be a fucking moron and fight.

CPD is a great organization that I have had plenty of interaction with. They have always been professional and very well mannered. This citizen of Cincinnati thanks all of the wonderful men and women that work to keep this city safe!

Tasing is unconstitutional and only power hungry, vicious animalistic humanoid creatures like American police forces get some sick twisted high from doing it. It has also been proven to kill.
