YouTube - 1080p (1080p Video Test)

This is a 1080p Video. Obviously the video will need to be 1080p to make this work, normally you should see something in the title of the video, or description. This is a big innovation for the whole internet, because now we get even more better quality video.

This was a bad idea as I recorded the video in 720p, so sorry about the quality and video quality will be back to normal in the next video. Thanks for the continued support.

wow. I just did the &fmt=37 "magic" trick and it only made it 460p - wait. Do you need to upload it HD too?

yes it has to be hd, obviously, you can't magically transform 480p into 1080p

did you do anything special to make it 1080p? i uploaded a 1920x1080 video at 15,000 kbps and its only showing the regular hd button, i just posted it do i have to wait for it to update to 1080p or is 1080p broken for some users

@Acer0c It is probably already 1080p, if you uploaded a 1080p video, it will on show the HD button when your logged in because it does it in full HD automatically. So you're viewing it 1080p already. If you wanna see the 1080p button, log out and then watch it.

i tried it at one of my 720p vids and it made i 360p??? i allso tried &fmt=18 but it just changed to 480p

Quite suprised. I have my older laptop from 2006, running integrated 128MB ATI video chipset, and it plays 1080p flawlessly!

I tried the &fmt=37 on another youtube page and it didn't work :'( it only worked for the &fmt=18 format. Help!!!
