This is my uncle's engine that we've just finished restoring. Thats my uncle, Stewart, cranking the engine for one of the very first times. It is a 1919 International "overstrike" type "M". This engine is not to be confused with the ordinary cosmetic restoration. This engine has been 100% MECHANICALLY restored with spot on precision repairs, shimming, timing and tolerances. This is as close as you will get to an "as factory" "M", today, asside from a crate engine. With that being said, im proud to have my name on it. Special credits go to non other than my uncle Stewart, for giving me the pleasure to work with his engine that was before, a real basket case to put it mildly and other credits go to the late John Hammink A.K.A. "Six "M" John" and Peter wrok of the U.K. for providing great hints and tips to restoring an International type "M". Most major mechanical repairs, such as valve guides, ignitior repair, fabrication, magneto rebuilding and fuel pump repair was done by me, Skylar King, along with some painting and as always, a big thank you to my father, Kenneth King and again, Stewart, for being there to lend with that 3'rd and 4'th hand i always need but never have!
