@WilhelmDrake people will hold 0% treasuries when they think equities/commodities are overvalued or the economy is about to tank. it worked well in 2009, and to some extent, this year as well.

1) Are 0% Treasuries essentially equivalent to holding cash?

2) Why would someone wish to hold 0% Treasuries?
