Royal Caribbean in Labadee Haiti

Royal Caribbean International CEO Adam Goldstein and Patrick Delatour minister of tourism for Haiti met up in Labadee to thank the tourists for their invaluable and continued support, Wayne Paulo http://www.waynepaulo.com/Nearly_Famous_Video.html author, presenter and photographer was on site and his partner Estelle Paulo captured the event on video, a United Nations helicopter flew them into the sun, sea and sand of Labadee were tourists were enjoying para sailing, jet skiing, kayaking, snorkelling and the zip line.
Royal Caribbean are the largest contributors to Haiti's tourist revenue, are investing millions of dollars and employ hundreds of locals.
Apart from the additional help supplying over 2,420 pallets of medical supplies, food, water & equipment for the disaster relief.

It pissed me off severely when the media tried to paint Royal Caribbean in a negative light for continuing to viist Labadee after the quake. The media in it's usual overreaction didn't research the fact on how much money RCCL and tourists pump into Haiti on an annual basis thank to Labadee. I just came back from Labadee on the Enchantment, and I helped the Haitian economy by buying some stuff from the vendors. What did the media do to help the economy? NOTHING!

I am sooo happy that royal Caribbean is doing there part in charity for the Haitian people.
