I'd say two or three little tench, so they have space to grow up the next years.

tench are my favourite fish so i thought i should get some for my new pond that is around 600-700 gallons, how many tench could i have in the pond with out overcrowding

Flakes and tablettes, sometimes worms and mosquito larvae. But I don't feed my tench separately, all fish get the same.

They're called doctorfish, because it is said that their slime cure any sick fish.
I think that's just a myth.

Tench are my favourite fish but ist keeping them in an aquarium like this cruel??

All my fish are juvenile and small. Unfortunately all of them grow up fast and become very big as adults. So they stay for one or two years in my tank and then move into my pond.
