These are general tips for prospective as well as current exchange students. During my junior year in college I studied at Kansai Gaidai University (Hirakata, Osaka). Hope this helps!

  • Katakana is hard, hiragana is easier, Kanji is fucking hard

  • Who stole the legs off your chair?

  • You're right! You are the only one that can stop yourself. I was learning japanese and said "I can't do this" after about 2 weeks of learning. Then I started again. But this time I had a huge motive. It was to move to Japan. I have told myself I can't do it, but I kept going and now I'm on my second month of learning! I'm not giving up now!

  • 'Preacher Annie' has some really great advice here! ;) If you can see every day as an adventure, and give things a try instead of saying 'I can't' (which I think can be an easy trap to fall into when doing exchange), every day can be really great in Japan, or elsewhere. I know from my own experience doing exchange at Kansai Gaidai that every single day can really be a new experience and adventure; you just have to go after it. Really great and informative video!

  • @121anthony121 Thanks :) imma try that!
