As many of you know, I'm always trying to make my rides as accurate as possible. Just like with Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, I've decided that my Expedition Everest video could be better. So, with the mission of making the most accurate Expedition Everest recreation on Youtube, I recently set out to recreate this roller coaster at Disney's Animal Kingdom on Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Only, this time, instead of making the mountain with terrain, I want to make the mountain as it was actually built: using steel and facades. As you'll notice in this video, I've started construction on the interior of the mountain, including some backstage areas. While the interior may not be 100% accurate, it should be pretty close.

You'll notice at the end of the video, I've posed the question: coming soon? I've posed this as a question because I'm currently stuck. I'm not stuck because I've run out of the creativity to make it; I'm stuck because I've run out of the resources. I've figured out that there is no custom scenery that will allow me to make the exterior facade of a mountain. So, I leave the next step up to you guys. I need somebody to make this custom scenery for me. It needs to be detailed, with the ability to change rock color. It also needs to feature many different types of angles and shapes, similar to how the actual mountain is. In short, it needs to be high quality. Until this custom scenery becomes available, I cannot finish this recreation (of course, I will continue to make other rides in the meantime).

Music from this ride is called "Tula". It is featured in the Illuminations Preshow music loop.

Custom scenery, as always, can be downloaded from the Atari Forums at http://www.rct-theme-world.de/rct-liste/complete-list.htm. If you would like specifics on any custom scenery I used, please let me know in a comment. Thank you!

Enjoy! =)

  • How did you get the switch track

  • seriously, rotate the rocks so they look different from eachother instead of a repeditive rock pattern

  • i've seen the complete version of this and yet i'm still in shock at how good it is in its prefinished form

  • Roller Coaster 3 Tycoon =)

  • @sTiChFrEaK It Doesn´t Go Back...As he Said In the Video "Exp. Everest"

    It isn´t 1 coaster is 3!

  • Extended Coaster. It comes with Wild.

  • Whats the name on the track?

  • when i make the tracks intersect they wont go to the intersect track they just go back to the regular track and sometimes they say that it cannot have multiple seprate tracks how do i fix that?

  • im wasnt talkin about ho it goes backwards, and yes gravity does have something to do with it.once the holing brake releases then does it go down? friction? NO

  • Its nothing to do with gravity the coaster goes up and is held on a holding brake until the track switches behind it then once the track is switched the train goes backwards as the train has no forwards momentum..then the same happens again in the tunnel with the yeti ripping the track but this time the holding brake holds u backwards and then releases u so u go forwards due to no backwards momentum
