The Malayan Tiger

The Malayan tiger found in the southern and central parts of the Malay Peninsula, until 2004 was not considered a subspecies in its own right, ecent counts showed there are 600-800 Malayan tigers in the wild, making it the largest tiger population other than the Bengal and Indochinese tigers. It is, nevertheless, still an endangered sub-species.

It seems almost as small if not as small as the Sumatran tiger.

yeah but i always had the feeling this tiger looks more bold and furious

and also at some places their habitats are crossing with the elephants and rhinos wich means another threat. things like this explains why sumatran tiger easily agitated and even though they are stealthy and endangered, the number of tigers attack are quite high... and also explains lousy performance in the zoo, the often rebel the keepers command. they are naturally raw and hard to train...

malayan tiger are larger than the sumatran as big as indochina, or a bit smaller perhaps... as for bold and furious, the sumatran are more than malayan tiger. since it is small, in order to protect themselves, they create an unfriendly behaviour. and the sumatran are more stealthy, to prevent contacts with human, since there are sumatran tribes that live in the high mountain since thousands of years, at the heart of the forests, that also the main habitat of the tigers.
