@ekennye They have already taken it to the supreme court as well as congess and have hit a brick wall now we are trying at a state level. Call your state gov. if you want results.

@kbartlett84 I agree, people should call or write anyone in power to do the right thing - I write Congress and Senate every time I get flustered over an issue, It may not get immediate results but it does pressure them.

You claim you don't get immediate results, then equivocates what may be "you never get any results" with "it does pressure them"; I mean at least in China, and for decades long, citizens anywhere can get direct responses, more often resolutions, when they file complaint at the branch of central government specifically tasked to resolve local complaints, yet "free" world media pretends none of these exist.

@opeeum69 Speaking of this, I did get a series of letters and responses from our Senate majority Leader today. The issues I am pushing for will not produce immediate responses because they effect millions of people. With local issues I get immediate responses. I am surprised at the length and detail Senator McConnell's addressed my questions. I was very satisfied with the reasoning behind his judgement on the issue, because the press did not inform the public of the many aspects involved...
