Kairi's Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel)

♥ DEDICATION ♥

An attempt at a music video I threw together for Father's Day - also an attempt to embed some personal symbolism no one has the means to understand and my father not the reserves to comprehend. Or maybe Vixen just shouldn't attempt the feat of metaphors. Who knows.

♥ POINTLESS PRATTLE ♥

This video marks the last time I will be forced to wrestle with lesser quality gaming clips - for I have recently come into the possession of an entire collection of HD KH AVI's, courtesy of the god sent gotegenks and his generous sharing of a particularly delicious 11 GIG torrent which contains all the video one could ever need in a quality so clear I swear I could see Sora's breath condensating while he took his obligatory bicentennial nap in that nondescript lotus flower, foregoing puberty and embarrassing vocal altercations, but still managing to emerge with evidence of a growth spurt - that is, if his truncated red knickers were any indicator.

Bottom Line: GOTEGENKS is offering up a lovely torrent and is encouraging all to download said torrent, so I shall provide the link at the end of the description, even though I ceased to use any of these newly acquired clips in the corresponding movie (I was unable to petition the United States to postpone a national holiday so I could acquire better footage for my AMV - perhaps next year I will be able to create something that is not so terribly pixelized - an issue I still believe to be largely my fault due to poor rendering skills and a general lack of knowledge, not so much the clip providers themselves - for without them, regardless of differing quality, none of us would have /anything/ to use, so I like to believe my own stupidity is the true culprit when it comes to the defragmenting of Sora's grinning face, not the original rippers who were benevolent enough to share their hard work with us simply for artistic purposes.)

Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel)

Aside from my father already being emotionally attached to this song (along with all others that happen to pour forth from Billy Joel's grand piano) I found it extremely easy to animate, seeing as though Kairi conveniently spends the entire first installment of Kingdom Hearts in various stages of unconsciousness - which can be easily misconstrued to convey the imagery of sleep - however, if Billy Joel's daughter really slept as much as I portrayed, I would think the man would have taken the initiative to accost a physician concerning the possibility of narcolepsy, or at the very least anemia, because Lord knows I never slept this much as a child. Then again, I lived off Pixie Sticks, so who knows?

i am deathly sorry. Its always sad to hear when something goes completely downhill. I accept that it has to happen. Slowly we will rebuild, and contribute to assistance in any way possible to help you alieviate any of the dismay that come around once in a while. Suppose there has been multiple reasons why you are depressed. That means lowered interest in the world outdoors. Go out and experience some real neat stuff. The Earth loves its terrestrials.

No matter, I shall excavate these 'golden oldies' - or so says my little brother - and reintroduce the world to Billy Joel, one video game music video at a time.

And, yes, eleven gigs will eat your disc space like a fat person eats McDonalds - fast and without any signs of remorse.

I consider it a worthy cause, however, and am now looking into the option of an external hard drive. (I put in a request for my upcoming birthday. We'll see how it goes. XD)
