The Camaro did a 155.3 with a 6 speed and the Firebird did a 157.8 with a 4 speed.

@celinamsu55 No I'm not talking about dyno top speed. I don't remember who, either MT or C&D, did a top speed test back in 1995 for the C4, ZR-1, Z28, TA, SS, Firehawk and coupla other souped up versions like a firebird from Hennessey that did almost 200mph. The auto Z28 and TA did like 157.6 or something, manuals were about 156. If they were gear limited the manual would definitely be faster so I'm guessing they weren't gear limited, which means on a dyno it'd probably be even faster.

@AmirGTR 14 flat is with a good driver with lots of seat time. and yes, 158 on a dyno it sure will. i had one, but it took forever to get there, so i dropped a 383 short block, lt4 p&p heads, ported lt4 intake, cc306 cam(baby cam) with a 373 gear posi, and a little bit of laughing gas, best i hit was a 11.2 on 18" streets

why so slow? stock z28 will hit 140 easy, and will also run a 12-13 sec quarter COMPLETELY STOCK, my silverado is faster than that and its a heavy bitch! come on now, not even red linin
