Very sad but positive story! When I went to South Africa and to Soweto many yrs ago,Aids was not well known. It is so sad to see these people who went thru so much in the mid eighties, to be attacked by AIDS. It is a beautiful Country full of beautiful people! You can see from the video how caring these people are! And the poor little babies, so sad to live in such an awful situation! I pray for them all..

naniwa00 - do you work for the SA government? perhaps u should do some research into how many people DON'T get ARVs in SA - uhamb' u bekhepi, umngani wam' - 16 million AIDS orphans in the next few years ... maybe the rate of infection has decreased (according to that report), but WE DO HAVE A CRISIS here, right? let's delay the time for patting ourselves on the back based on some UN report & fix what we can first.

could you even imagine being in their shoes. this is so hard to believe. im sitting in my high rise downtown chicago everything at my fingertips and this little girl is positive with half of her face gone and i think i have problems? wtf can people like me do about something like this?

Fun fact:
George W Bush was actually the greatest, largest giver of money, support & care for AIDS (especially in SS Africa) in history. (Yes, he gave more money & support than any other American to Africa - in world history)
"War & health care": what a bizarre combination in a President who was the worst communicator in history.
I suppose NO ONE is uni-dimensional.....
That footage of the girl who lost so much of her face broke my heart.
