Using recycled paint provided by Rebuilding Together Portland, the students spent the morning painting the entire exterior of the school. This will be the second North Portland school the students will paint in as many weeks. On Saturday, February 26, the students painted Ockley Green School at 6031 N. Montana Ave.

The project is part of the Pamplin School of Business "P4" program (the Pamplin Professional Preparation Program). P4 is an innovative program that prepares business students for professional careers and to be leaders in their work and community. Service is a central component of P4 and helps the Pamplin School of Business achieve its goal of producing alumni who are innovative and ethical leaders.

Rebuilding Together Portland is part of a nationwide non-profit organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the homes of low-income homeowners, particularly families with children and the elderly and disabled. Rebuilding Together Portland also assists in the rehabilitation of community centers, schools and non-profits.
