Fox Trapped

My buddy Rick traps his first fox, a large grey. This first red fox I came accross while heading to a spot I was deer hunting on public land.

Of course I have a German fighter training and education to fall hunting! We make our traps so that we catch only the desired animals and no other hurt! For a living animal placed in a simple case, we would be ashamed!

In Europe we have perhaps exaggerated ideas! But, says the animal welfare, we may catch the animals just dead! And the traps we set so that we catch only selected animals. And they are dead when our traps work!

@z95959599 Thats a shame your governement has been persueded by organizations and ideals that have nothing to do with ethics or conservation. I've used kill traps my whole life. They work great but not ideal on fox or coyotes. These footholds are also used by our biologists for study and relocation and are not meant to cause harm or suffering to the animal, just merely hold them in place. They must be checked daily.

In Germany we have a decent education for the fall hunt. You are not a real hunter! And we make it not for fun for the kids!

It has been a long 4 year case study of some of the most lazy willfully uninformed morons on the planet. In complete denial of the negative impact their ignorance has on wildlife and their country.

@lillylou11 Well lillylou-natic, because you asked......Santiy is a beautiful thing. You should really try it. I take great pride in being able to participate in conservation and sleep well knowing the positive impact my hunting, fishing and trapping dollars have had on our wildlife, our waters and our parks. But now, getting back to you and your condition....why are you so ignorant and unwilling to learn? If you're not fighting for wildlife, you are against it. Wheres the love?

Funny you should say that. He did like to hunt for the pot and even I trap pheasant on my horses fields. But he has always been totally against fox hunting. He has more trouble with rabbits on his land (which the foxes keep down) and dogs worrying his sheep than foxes. (lost 3 sheep and 1 lamb this year to dogs) He hate the fox hunt with horses and hounds as they wreck his ground and fences and stress his livestock. He is against hunting for blood sport.

And I will not let my kids watch them. But for me, the animals are all dead! And then everything is just like you do!

@CelebrateDiversity1 Celebrate diversity?? You need a psychiatric evaluation and celebrate some sanity you freak. You can't murder a fox. Conservation helps wildlife. Maybe it's time you start dealing in fact. Your ignorance is responsible for the needless killing of animals. You're so stupid you don't even know it.
