You could have gone with something about their authoritarian mindset in calling for your deportation for saying something they don't like. Though, that would have been kind of awkward since you then went on to express admiration for the authoritarian DPRK. And, no, the DPRK has never been able to sustain itself. It only (sort of) flourished by sucking at the USSR's teet. And soon as the USSR fell, bam, famine in the DPRK. Not exactly a model for sucessful socialism.

When the world's only hyperpower is preventing you from importing medicine and food while threatening to wipe you out i'd say keeping yourself from collapsing is a big achievement.
