She's an American...born and raised in the Bronx and she mentions that often...it's not as if she was born and raised in PR and came to America. I, also, hear her mention her hispanic roots quite often. And, I recall she even recorded an album in Spanish. What more do you want? Your anger seems a little misplaced.
