O Give Thanks (Thanksgiving Song) - Jack & Laurie Marti

This is a song we learned back in the eighties from a tape someone gave us of a family singing scripture songs. It was an unprofessional live recording, and all I know about the family is that their last name was Robertson. We assume Bro. Robertson put the songs together. Anyway, this one seemed like a good one to sing at Thanksgiving, so that's why we're sharing it with you!

Thank you so much for recording all of these scripture and biblically based songs. You have no idea how much having this resource has been to my family in raising our young children. We have had many heart issues over the past year, and whenever things are going roughly I use these songs to remind my daughter of her choices and to help her turn her heart towards God. Yes, we did have fun making this! Laurie didn't really know the words, so we had to sing it through about a dozen times before she got it right. Of course, I messed up a few times too, but all things considered, it came out all right!

thanks for sharing; so many of these "local" type songs get "lost" in the shuffle . . . I treasure many scripture songs that I learned as a child -- and there really is no better way to hide His word in our heart!
