As an old alberta child who had to escape the 80's recession to Ontario, this song made me so homesick for the Nattan - High River - Calgary area, that it still makes this now 50 year man wipe tears from my eyes. But Ian and his music have kept me goin' Thank you sir!!!!!!!

@jodywy1 Thanks for stopping by, jodywy1! It's been two years last I had a chance to see Ian and his voice was pretty well gone already but he gave it a great try and put on a wonderful show. Not to mention all the great songs he's written over the years.

thank you, I love all Ian sings. I am an Alberta addict and had my own little ranch here in Ontario. He inspired this old cowgirl. Now I am a sidewalker for riding therapy for the handicapped, still love the horses and live in a small country town. I am so glad there are more than a handful of these excellent tributes on here. I saw him perform a few times and got my picture taken with him.
