There was so much that could have been accomplished...so much that could have been averted. A roomful of PHD's on his senior staff-many from the Kennedy White House- and not one can offer a clear pathway out of Vietnam. I think about this constantly...Wonder what public opinion and the general consensus on foriegn policy would have been if we had communication networks like the Internet back then?
