Great soundtrack...but when "Words and Music" was originally released, MGM had to deal with Southern exhibitors, who preferred that Lena NOT appear in the studio's films. So, her sequences were often "separated" from the majority of those films, and those theaters literally edited her out. That's one reason why Lena eventually walked away from her contract- and Hollywood...
