Month 2: Free The Marijuana

Free The Marijuana is the second 'classic' King Kong Company track to get a re-edit. This was first performed in 1996 and, alongside Dr. Whom, is one of the fan favourites. The video was recorded in Garter Lane, Waterford, in mid-February 2011.

King Kong Company are an electronic band from Waterford, Ireland. The six members of Mark White, Tom Stapelton, Alan Aylward, Colin Hoye, Hazel Downes, Mark Graham originally performed together between 1996 and 2001. They regularly performed across venues and Festivals in Ireland with some of the highlights including an appearance at Homelands in 1999 and performing in front of 30,000 people to ring in the Millennium on New Years Eve 1999/2000. In early 2011 the band returned to the studio to re-edit classic tracks and work on new material.
