@jrubin68: Fox News talking points?? I don't ever watch Fox but I'm pretty sure their talking points are Obama is Stalin, dems bad-repubs good. If they wanted to lower cost thru competition like you claim; they would have either forced it by passing a public option OR incentivised it by ripping up the parts of the tax code which causes us to have a employer based health insurance system. Neither one of these were done so I know they aren't serious about fixing the problem.

@jrubin68 ; 40 million people do not NOT die because they lack "health care".

Read up: FACT: more people die each year from legally prescribed drugs than from illegal drugs. FACT: More people die each year from surgical "mistakes" than from gun accidents. It goes on. I'm not a big fan of making vitamins illegal, keeping smoking legal, and then MAKING US buy modern medicine's so-called cures.

The stats are pretty clear; more people die from the "treatments" than from the actual diseases.
