History of the Video on the Net -
The original youtube upload for this video was April 14, 2006 on my old RidgeShark account. At last count, the video had reached 3,525,711 views before the account it was on was deleted due to multiple copyright complaints. What can I say, I'm reformed now but I was a repeat offender then. The video that ultimately sunk me was a clip from an obscure, creepy German children's film that probably could have used the exposure. Notes about this new version -
The original master for this video was created on July 21, 2001. All the raw footage had been transferred from the Digital 8 tapes using a USB 1.1 device using a analog composite input that captured video at a resolution of 320x240 and dropped frames like it was going out of style. So now ten years later, I've managed to locate most of the original Digital 8 tapes (some have bit the dust and some remain lost) and have gone back to recreate the video using modern standards in the highest quality possible while remaining true to the original look - and in some cases improving clarity where things were handled badly the first time.
