This video shows the movement of my Invicta 9403 Submariner homage, and my Alpha Planet Ocean homage watches.

It may not show in the video, but the Invicta movement seems a little smoother. The Alpha is more accurate, and hacks. The Invicta runs a little fast. Both watches feel very solid, and look great.

Here are the specs on the watch movements. They are very similar.

21 Jewels, 21,600 BPH for the Miyota 8215 movement in the Invicta.
21 Jewels, 21,600 BPH for the Seagull ST16 movement in the Alpha.

The music is called Brave New Tango by the Ostrich Farm, a friend's band.

  • Can you tell me if the Invicta has solid endlinks or are they folded?

  • @sardomite Folded.

  • Hey where did you get the alpha from...I've been looking everywhere and cant find it. Thanks

  • @aalvari1 I emailed Alpha from their website and asked them if they still sold it. They said that they'd make one for me, and put a link back up on their website to order it. Email them, I bet they'd sell you one.

  • Bad white-balance!

  • @ChicaWolverina It was taken with a digital camera. I don't have a camcorder.

  • This is too much. Alpha it's the 1st letter from the greek alphabet, and omega the last. Juts beginning with that.

  • interesting observation there. Not sure if all Alpha's exhibit this behaviour. I've got mine coming soon & I'd surely compare it to my 007.
