  • Why are white people so ignorant! I could have done without the mindless commentary ..." she's inspired by her homeland of Africa..." . What the hell is that supposed to tell me when Africa has over a billion people and thousands of very different traditions. Korto is from Liberia which very SPECIFICALLY informs her design choices. There is a reason why the acclaimed East African bridal designer Amsale has a completely different design aesthetic from West African Korto. Get a clue!

  • I LOOOOOOOOOVE HER!

    I wanted her to win so bad..they always seem to pass by REAL Talent on project runway :/

  • I can't believe Korto didn't win....ugh i still dont get how she lost

  • i love Korto and she should have won, also love her move for picking my favorite model Daniela Cosio, grl is beautiful, also does anyone know the name of the song or the name of the artitst, i love the song.

  • @ioriginale I don't understand your anger. We agree the boundaries don't follow ethnicity/geography which was part of my point. I never said Africa is homogenous. Where is? I'm American just as I stated. My mother was born under British rule in Gambia (Mandinka/Briton.) My father was Scots Irish and Cherokee. I was born in England but came to the US after my mother died in 1991. Many here can not trace African ancestry to one people. There is no harm embracing all Africa as an ancestral home.

  • @MarHeavenAngel89 - Listen although it is generalizing, sometimes I generalize to make a point even tho obviously not every single white person on this Earth thinks the same. That goes w/o saying! But it is white ppl who created the concept of race and it is they who benefit from and perpetuate ignorance. There is a reason their ignorance seems to deepen as time goes on - b/c they're benefiting socially, financially and psycologically from it.

  • @MissAliasSobriquet

    "As for her calling Africa a homeland- those divisions between countries are mainly imaginary European constructs, and not anything that is geographical, sociological, or in any way real about Africa." ...obviously said by a non-African. Just b/c Europeans came and put their own name and boundaries on African land doesnt mean that cultural divisions b/w ethnic groups didnt exist before. Africa was made up of thousands of ethnic gps even b4 the Euros came!!. Get a clue!

  • @ioriginale

    Most people are ignorant about Africa no matter what their color. Ignorance is not a crime. Apathy is.

    As for her calling Africa a homeland- those divisions between countries are mainly imaginary European constructs, and not anything that is geographical, sociological, or in any way real about Africa. Historically Americans refer to Africa as a homeland because so many of us can not trace from where in Africa we originated. We all did originate there too whatever our color.

  • was the first model Dani Evans from ANTM?

  • @photogenic305 Ooo whats the site? can u link me plzz :}

  • btw! she shouldve won the all stars challenge! i was so pissed she lost twice ;[
