Ah! This explains why my husband can't understand people with accents. I do emergency dispatch, so I have to translate some pretty thick accents sometimes.

Clever. I'd try something like that myself, but I'm originally from Nebraska, and we don't have any unusual dialect or accent to speak of. I guess I could speak in a high pitched voice and go on a sugar rush...wait, that's been done.
