I went to Amsterdam for vacation last summer. One word: DISAPPOINTED. Seriously, most boring place ever!!! clubs close sooo fucking early, and the Dutch are soooooooo annoying and all they wanna do is talk politics. Holland sucks nuts!!!!!!

sorry to hear that, hopefully you'll reconsider if I told you there are some clubs open till 8 am and talk to a drunk next time, they never talk politics! =P

I don't think I'll return to the Netherlands for a long time. It wasn't a bad place. I want to go to Italy for my next trip to Europe. One thing is for sure though, Amsterdam doesn't even compare to New York City. That's my favorite place.

Yes, we can speak English just fine, we learn it in in elementary school, also 4-6 years in high school. :)

Geboren in Amsterdam opgegroeid in een dorp. Aan de hand van wat IK heb meegemaakt houdt Nederland het volgende in:

- Geregeerd door Europa, aan de meeste Europese wetten verbonden

- Omstanders op straat grijpen haast nooit in bij zinloos geweld

- Een heleboel Oranjefans, mits we de kwartfinale halen en er bier is.

- Ministers zullen dansen, rappen, BN-ers bellen en overdreven uitspraken doen om in een goed daglicht te komen bij het Nederlandse volk.

- Actief in militaire operaties

- Etc..

they calles them the new york yankees because the first team was mostly fully dutch

Most people who go to Amsterdam will see something totally new.
