I really dont get this thing, i mean sure it makes the iphones camera a lot nicer but it defeats the whole purpose of a cell phone camera and that is to take quick pics just about anywhere, if you were really serious about photography why would u use this instead of a DSLR or nicer point and shoot even, if your not serious about pics you wouldn't care about this.

@MeInTheNewWorld With the iPhone 4, it's 720p HD so you can shoot quite high quality video, and now with iOS 4.1 and the HDR photography, it's almost as good as a DSLR by itself, let alone with the BUBO.

The weight is to help the stability of holding the unit without a tripod. :)
