Listening to the NiGHTS: Lucid Dreaming album from Overclocked ReMix had me wondering what the game would be like if it used their soundtrack instead of the original one in the game. Here is the results!

I'm actually happy with the way the Bridgebell level came out, but slowing down Reala's intro just to match the audio track made that part of the video feel odd. I also hate that I couldn't find a Wizman battle that was long enough for "Dies, Nox, et Omnia." But, hey, if you like what you heard, please download the album project from the link above.

  • I was saddened when I played NiGHTS. It's got Katamari Syndrome, I think. Exactly the kind of game I would enjoy tremendously, but I just couldn't stay into it. :(

In any case, I do like the music, the game looks wonderful...maybe I should just stick to watching the games being played.

  • @Lizarius Hey, that's what I did with L.A. Noire, but mostly it was because I don't have a PS3.

  • As director of the Lucid Dreaming album, I definitely got chills with how you put the music to these specific segments. The concept is a great idea and you pulled it off quite well with what you had to work with. Nice work, and I'm beyond happy that people are enjoying the album!

  • @TokyoAro

You haven't played NiGHTS? Oh, you poor child!

NiGHTS into dreams was made by Sega's Sonic Team in 1996.

This video shows gameplay of the sequel, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams for the Wii.

Recently, Overclocked Remix created an album for the 15'th anniversary of NiGHTS, and that is the soundtrack being played over this video.

  • All you guys arguing that this couldn't happen because it's Sega? Uh, I'm pretty sure OCRemix does Sonic remixes.<_<

  • @GIGAXISBASS Dude, CAPS bro. >_< I'll give him a chance, I'm just saying I wasn't too big on his past work.
