The 2057 documentary is a 3 part series by the discovery channel. It's a an entertaining documentary about life in 50 years. The city episode shows us how much city life will be incredibly interconnected. The extreme interconnection has risks however which we must avoid before problems occur.

  • Wtf segways?

that came and left like in 2006.

    guess those teens are "hipsters"

  • Maybe get some real friends?

  • Why are there no older buildings in "The City"?

  • Haha Im the old guy

  • I'll probably be Paul's grandfathers age.

  • and lets hope our laptop looks better....

  • Oh gosh lets hope that is not the fashion in the future.....

  • @ArmanCortez1 I also think that's what is going to happen.

This would've been more accurate if they would've called it 2100.

This is in just 40 years. I don't think we will all have flying cars etc in 40 years.

The logistics of it will take much longer to figure out.

  • I dont have very high expectations for future tech besides communication technology. It seems to be the only type of technology that is growing faster than the others. Robotics, Fuel, transportation, agriculture, and sadly medicine are all stagnating. Why? No really cares about them or see any capitalistic finanical gains in them yet. I mean the personal phone has only been around 18+ years. Look how much it has changed because of consumer interest.

  • reality- two completely separate pieces of technology can make either shitty holograms or shitty 3D

conclusion- using neither methods shown we will have free moving 3D holograms with extremely developed AI in 50 years
