Double knitting with four yarns, some yarns used for both front and back at same time. The technique for managing more than two yarns could also help with working stranded patterns. Note: this video is silent.

  • You'll need to go to Ravelry, and check out my page -- spindleknitter. The finished objects and yarn info are all there.

  • With how you knitted this. Was there any floaters in the back of the work, or was it double knitting the same in the back?

  • @Althena2006 There was double knitting on the backside. This finished mitten can be seen on my Ravelry page.

  • That would be a challenge! If I attempt it, I will definitely share my process. I started this project with only two colors and joined the other two after a few rows. (Casting on with four colors would make thick mitten cuffs.)
