Morris Day and the Time perform hit song "The Bird" at Veterans' Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona on October 16, 2010. This song was featured in the 1984 movie "Purple Rain" and is a signature number for the band. "The Bird" was the last song in the set list, with the front row of the audience joining the band members on stage. (Inexplicably, Morris Day did NOT perform "Jungle Love" at this concert.) This performance was part of the 2010 Arizona State Fair concert line-up and Morris Day and the Time was the opening act for the B-52s. I recorded this video from floor, fifth row.
