Another cover (yes I'm very productive lately). This time it's "Throwing your Life away" by Stoner-Metallers Spiritual Beggars. Great riffs, great oldschool feeling to it I think. Again it's Michael Amott who wrote this small masterpiece, great guitarist! Enjoy !(sorry for the small mistakes, I'm not perfect ;) )

  • You're an octave too high, but its very good!

  • @drillsgth What? I'm not an octave too high.

You should definitely check your ears and then check what an octave is and then check what guitar tunings exist. If that was an Octave too high Amott would have to be tuned at least an octave lower (since i even use the 0 0 0 powerchord)

that means he would have to be tuned 6 steps down from a drop C Tuning ON A SIX STRING. What the hell are you thinking, honestly? xD

  • @swordfishxmd lol you made yourself look like a fool with that reply to drillsgth. however, you're in the right tuning. it's trebly, i think that's what made him think that.

  • @DennChooch What the hell? I was assuming he was talking about my tuning and not about the notes. In that case, my answer is completely correct.

  • @swordfishxmd I guess he wasn't, well then I just misunderstood him for there has been talking about the tuning in the comments before that. Doesn't make me a fool though, does it? There are more than enough ridiculous comments on youtube to justify me thinking he was talking about tuning my guitar an octave lower :D

  • sounds great, good job.

the way you play it looked slightly off to me, but still sounded right. then i figured it out- youre in drop C, arent you? its "supposed to" be in C standard (and thats how i play it), but it still sounds perfectly fine in drop.

  • The tab I used had it in drop C, but even if it would've been C standard I would've used drop, not because it's easier but because I'm in D standard normally and it's less work only tuning that string down.

    Thanks for your comment.
