The only people bucking Alice about their name and saying they shouldn't continue are the retarded fans. The other fans that don't are great.

If they changed their name the haters would still have complains because all the songs Layne sang are owned by Jerry and AIC. So they have full right to continue to play them. If they didn't play them, they still sound like themselves AIC with a new singer.

Legends are dead people. Legacies are living people. That is what they are doing continuing the LEGACY. There is a big difference.

Because Layne was singing in Diamond Lie it doesn't matter if they change the name or not. But it really is their choice. I think the name AIC name is just find the way it is. The band went through history of their lives with this name. So they can continue their life history with it. Makes prefect sense.

AIC are doing a bang up job and have worked very hard with Laynes ghost around their necks. (RIP- Layne) But they deserve to keep playing their hearts out for as long as they feel the need to. Jerry deserves to keep AICs name as the band (which was his from the beginning) was named when they all met. All orginal AIC members played under Diamond Lie which was also JERRYS BAND. LAYNE WAS IN THIS BAND NOT CALLED AIC.
