@akamissrubytuesday Thanks i got the surgery in april but wondering if I strech out will my body tell me how much s to much or will I do harm inadvertantly and then will it be to late ? Thank you

Thank you so much for sharing:)) I am 34 years old smokin:) female and I am getting a double hip replacement in 4 - 6 months. I'm feed up with the pain and will go through anything to get my life back! So many people think that I'm crazy to think that I could get back to the things I love! I say why get new hips and lay about afraid to use them!!! Not this girl!!! Im soooo happy that I see you have gone back to your life:))) girls like u make me look at it as making me a little extra specia

I'm on day 11 post opt. Still no weight bearing and I miss driving!

Had mine done about 8 days ago. walking with a cane now. But you are so right about the pain.
I am also a hairstylist who is going in tomorrow for a hip replacement . I'm lying in bed anxious but ready to feel good! My clients are so supportive. Lisa

Just curious how are you doing now ? are You able to do things like you did before ? I'm involved in the Martial arts and I'm worried that I may be limited .

@pubsterguy Hi- sorry for the late response... just saw this. - If your in the martial arts and in need of hip replacement- odds are good your already limited in the things you can do. I can no longer put my feet behind my ears or run.. or ride a bike- but I can walk, dance & as long as you honor the range of motion limitations- you will be glad you entailed the surgery. Hope that answer helps out.
