We need a ton more like Lupe. People aren't conscious enough to understand and appreciate someone with his situation making the moves that he's making. Lu could've easily sold out the moment he got on with Ye and Jay...but he's always stood his ground and upheld his beliefs. It's sad how people hate him for trying to get his point across....yet these are the same folks that LOVE and support this shit-hop industry that plays the same shitty songs 50x a day.

@jonathanblacksad Perhaps he feels it's an issue that warrants as much attention as he can give it.
If he comes across as attention seeking, but makes people open their eyes, then who cares?
He has a voice and is unhappy about something very serious. I don't blame him for wanting to be heard.

This dude must be inspired by God. With the weight of the world on his back & media 'demons' demonizing, he has still found a way to prevail over ignorance. He fights the same battle that Tupac, MJ, DMX, Mos Def, Dave Chappelle, Fela Kuti, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Aaron Lewis, J Lenin & SOO many others have fought & have lost their careers/lives doing.
