Motivation to SNAP! Part 1 of 2

Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEyC45i45X8

What is SNAP? SNAP is a method to Signal, Negotiate, Advert, Promote - diverting negative thinking into logical thinking. When we "SNAP" we are able to productively push through obsticales we are faced with by SNAPPING ourselves into shape and directing attention upward before it falls downward. This technique is great for addictions, obsessive compulsive disorder and over all negative and depressive thinking.

You can take control! You have the power to create change, make it happen now! Why wait? SNAP!

Note: I have included in the ending that we are all only human and I understand that me and many others will not always SNAP everytime we want to or could of. However, in that case we can turn things around when we are feeling stable and willing to do so - which really is another way to SNAP because you are SNAPPING yourself back on a steady and healthy track. Remember this, don't regress or depress ... progress! SNAP!

Today was a very good day for me because I got up and SNAPPED! I wanted to share this positive energy with all of you...

Have you SNAPPED today?

  • I'm really glad that I found your channel. I feel like you were put here for a reason, and even if that reason isnt to make me feel better lol i like that it makes me feel like it is. You're sooooo inspirational. I'm going to keep this in mind the next time I have another negative thought. I'm going to snap out of it. Thank you!! Your reward for helping others out will be bigger than you know. Thanks for sharing your kind spirit with us all

  • Too kind and too cute dear! Gratitude to you. I'm glad I can be of help but please make sure you are giving yourself credit for making your help and change happen! Bravo to YOU!

  • You are a wise wise man... I'm making this vid a favorite so I can watch it when I start digging myself into a hole.

  • Hugs::: thank you very much, you are very kind. I feel blessed when I can help people in any way that I can. I am honored to help and interact here! Keep snapping dear!

  • You've got a gift for this. Consider making this and other things available for others in the future.

  • I appreciate this feedback, very much so. Thank you. I do public ed education, activism and art so I have been making it available for a long time now. This account though - it started with many videos like this one... lectures, theories based on personal experience and opinion, etc. I have 300 something videos now so it's really a library. One day I will make a playlist of all lectures and motivational vids but right now it's too time consuming to sort through them all. 300 oh my glitter

  • I'm going to do this! Only problem is I can't snap my fingers. LOL Don't worry, I'll still use it :D

  • Johnny! Thank you so much for this video! I think you have saved my marriage before it has started :) Thank you love!

  • Im going to try this! sometimes my mom helps me "snap" out of depression. If I could do it myself it wouldnt be as long to suffer. My bipolar is sneaky I will be ok and then BAM with no warning im crying. but now Im going to try to S.P.A.P. it away! Thanks sweetie!

  • and this idea is GREAT: to take stuff to other place I did it with coffee now i drink it only in cafes not at home (hm we have another situation with coffeee - it's not like in any food place in abundance, so i can't overdrink eat while i'm outside home). and also i plan to do it with internet: when i will work (in a two weeks or so) i will use internet only at work (it's possible and ok) and i will NOT even open it at home (so i hope it will help me to reduce my internet-addiction)

  • Thank u for this, Johny. I definantely HAVE the rest of my life no matter what i had in the past

  • This is absolutely great! You are a genius!

  • Thanks Johnny! I needed to hear that...I am a bit down right now and as an addict I was really nurturing the negative shit.

  • Wow! great job! I love this tecnic!

your words are soo powerful and encouraging! when I'm in a bad day I always think that tomorrow will be better, and I use this as an exucuse to keep doing bad behaviours the rest of the day... I will try to think more about changing the present moments by doing the SNAP thing.

    thanks soo much.

    xoxo
