My mom passed away on 9/23/11 and this was sung at her funeral. I miss my mother so very much.

Even nearly 2 years since my Mom passed away, this song brings me comfort. Cause she wouldn't want me to cry anymore. Though I still miss her, she was my greatest support. My only support.

I love this song. These are Jesus words to give us comfort. The key is in the words "my death was meant to be," and "the reason I came you soon shall see." This song always brings me comfort at the thought of when we meet our maker.

@msellie50 i agree. her voice is a gift from God also. it brought tears to my eyes and gave me goosebumps. i was sitting in my living room by myself, and after she finished i stood up and applauded. amazing!

This was the most beautiful song that was sung at Whitney Houston's funeral. CeCe Winans was incredible, pouring her heart and soul into this tribute song for Whitney. Every word was sung as if Whitney was singing it herself. RIP Whitney, you will always be loved :)) <3
