  • @johnmathon100 not worried about the planet. the planet is and will be fine - the question just is that we might not be. 99.9% of all life that ever was is now extinct... just be capitalist and or selfish about it n preserve the environment thats most serving to us lol

  • elons concern about climate is not well founded. rising temperature has always resulted in more life, more food, more weath. Any change always has positives and negatives but temperatures have been rising for centuries and millenia and it has gone down at various times. Life has gotten richer, more prolific with every rise. Why the next 5 degrees would result in disaster is not well thought out. i totally agree though that everything else said is amazing

  • I hope that the rest of the world does well enough that by 2030 the united states is not the only dominant country in the world!! You have to realize that the only reason the us has the reserve currency is because other countries have done SO POORLY. It is a travesty that other countries are SO bad at running their economies and so incompetent that they have been left in the dust for so long. Now they have the example. All they have to do is copy us.

  • What would happen, or how likely is it that the US dollar will lose its status as the world's reserve currency by the year 2025-2030? How would the US go about bringing itself out of debt and staying above communist China?

  • I'm worried. The united states is the only country in the world where this can happen. Over here in Australia, we don't have the population or resources to create a private space business, the US is the only capitalist nation on Earth where this can happen. But with the way the economy is going over there, its not that unlikely that the US dollar will lose its rank as the world's reserve currency. If that happens, this will be history. I hop it doesn't happen, we need america. we need spacex.

  • Why does the interviewer keep "getting back to climate change"? I want to hear about space and going to Mars - but no, even heroes like Elon & Peter have to bow down, and pay their tithe to the church.

  • This is significant. It is no longer a debate society. Governments were the sole proprietors of space travel. Now, space is getting to a point of viable returns. And as technology improves and costs go down, people could opt for space station living and travelling to other places beyond Earth is beyond words. I'd love to be able to see the solar system... a tetra watt plasma drive with a 25 story biosphere. a flying castle that could reach anywhere... that's a dream I'd love to live.

  • Quit stuttering bitch

  • mathematically we are not alone......

  • @Craigipedia you don't have to stay on the Moon for years. There are enough projects that make establishing a close connection to the Moon useful. Mars is also too far. A message to Mars will several minutes which could be vital in an emergency situation. I say, set aside Mars for better technology and a better economy.
