@Goldtacto I'm no sir and I consider myself strongly an atheist. Atheism: A lack of belief in the existence of God or gods. I lack the belief of any god/gods. If I was absolutely certain there was no god/gods, I would be relying on belief alone however I remain strongly skeptical given no evidence to support such beliefs. Atheism is not religion just a term used to define those of us who are skeptical of a god/s whether strong or not. Read Spectrum of Theistic Probability.

@hellfencer As atheism is not a belief, it certainly is not a belief structure. Atheism does not purport anything. If you cannot agree to that, you might yet be an atheist who just does not understand the word. Either way, a structure is more than 1 thing. Whether you believe there are no gods or you simply do not believe there are gods, it takes more than that to make a structure. How is this stuff hard for you???

I have to say you are wrong. Know why? Simple. Atheism is a belief structure. Just because the structure is simple, does not make it any less of a belief system. Atheism purports that there are no gods. If you can't agree to that simple belief, you are not atheistic. The definition of religion is a structure of beliefs. Seriously, just because the beliefs are simple does not mean its not a religion. How is this stuff hard for you???

Atheism is a lack of a belief in a god. I don't believe in a god not because I believe there is no god but because there hasn't been evidence to show such an existence. If such evidence shows itself then maybe I will reconsider. Until then I remain skeptical and no I don't believe I'm a god or that people shouldn't be allowed to worship who or what they want.
