  • I don't understand minute 3:27, how can there be more monsters than the current limit on the board?

  • @NightKIglesias If the terror level reaches 10, there can be. But if there are then twice as many as the normal limit, the AO awakens.

  • Thank you so much for these vids! explained a lot of little pernickety issues that I was confused about.

  • @shoeshiner100 You're welcome. AH indeed has some persnickety issues. :o)

  • Assuming you go to the other world and there are 2 gates that open to that same other world. You move from the other world into the game with the monster. How do you go about resolving that? Do you do the following?

    1. Fight Monster (during movement phase), try and defeat/evade monster

    2. Go through Arkham Encounter Phase and try to close/seal gate.

    Thanks.

  • @TheLostPagong The turn after you return to Arkham, you do not have to confront any monsters there. You would just try to close/seal the gate that turn. If you fail to close it, then on the next turn you would have to either fight or evade the monster(s) before trying again to close/seal.

  • Thnks thnks thnks!!!!! I actually started yesteday with a friend and there were so many things that we didn' t understand!!!! Thank you ' re so nice to have done these tutos!!!! Cheers from France!!!

  • @Grudunza But I'm confused because in the minute 3:15 you said that every time the terror track would go higher than 10 you add a doom token to the track but how can it go higher if there is no monster limit and if there is no monster limit, new monsters stay in the board instead of moving to the outskirts, right? So if they don't move to the outskirts then how can the terror track go up?

  • @Grudunza You answered my question from the previous video here. Thanks!

  • If it goes to 11, Spinal Tap wins

  • Respond to this video... Now, when you are at a explored gate, you dont get sucked in again, except if you leave the location and reenter it. The sucking in (or closing and maybe sealing) happens in the encounter phase, so if you wanted to get sucked in again (for whatever reasons) youd have to leave the location( evading monsters there), reentering the location (evading the same monsters again) and you get sucked in in the encounters phase

  • @RogueDragon05 i would say wrong and wrong. First of all, whenever you return to arkham from the outer world, BY ANY MEANS, the gate that you return through, is considered explored. You dont fight the monsters at this gate, in the movement phase of return ONLY. So, if you returned to arkham by an other world encounter in that phase, you would need to fight the monsters that are at that gate in your movement phase, because you did not come back to arkham in that movement phase.
