  • I don't know if it will work, a generator from a diesel unit would require more power than this can produce. I would try something smaller such as an old 12v dynamo to charge batteries, and if you need 240v, buy an inverter. If you think about it, a diesel generator would be at least 3.5hp which is equal to 2.6kW of driving power.
