@stillbusy Did you even watch the movie? It has NOTHING to do with conversion and only small hints of slavery. To put it the movie into simple terms "One big tribe needs large sacrifice to please god, big tribe raids little tribes, brave warriors fight against big tribe and loose, central character becomes separated from loved ones leaving them in peril,central character lucks out and escapes being sacrificed,central character defies the odds and rescues loved ones, the end...white people come.

I dont understand what was wrong with it? Its not a "historical" movie. Its fiction. I think that the fact that this kind of movie was made was awesome, I dont think it made fun of anything, and I didnt get the feeling it was shown in a negative light either. And I dont think the movie was made to "accuse" anyone of anything. Its just a story in a Mayan setting. I see a lot of accusations in this song how bad this movie is but no explanations why. So I dont really understand.
