So only zip ties were used to mount the ballast?
do those aluminum housing ballast prevent Electromagnetic Interference from coming in contact with those sensitive Mercedes components are they better than those "slim digital" ones? How come you didn't drill them to ground? i have those "slim digital" ballast and caused my 05 c230 to go limp mode all because i had it to close to the ABS and suppose i didnt drilled them to the body of the car. Is that true?

@XmojotronX The ballast used in this video (Premium Slim) is a EMI shileded unit that will not disrupt the electronic components in your vehicle. These units do not need additional grounding to avoid interference with other systems because of the quality of their internal components. Keep in mind that not all ballasts are the same. XenonSupply Premium ballasts are EMI shielded, Waterproof, epoxy filled units with CANBus decoders.

One more thing, lets say the lights burn out after awhile, can you go back to stock lights? lol

Hey, I was wondering, can you do this exact method with a 2001 c240? And what about the high beams? Thanks.
hangandrew 8 months ago
@hangandrew You can use this same method for the 2001 C240 however the engine bay will be slightly smaller as it is a older year model. It does use the same bulb type and kit as the one showed in the 2007 C Class. I would recommend emailing our support department to get a direct product link for your 2001 C240 at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)Com.
Thank You
