The Speedheater Paint Remover will soften many coats of Paint and Varnish at a time, allowing it to be easily scraped away. There are no messy chemicals or sanding dust. Infra Red heat is safer and easier than hot air heat guns. It does not raise the grain of the wood like heat steamers. This is the genuine Speedheater as seen in This Old House Magazine:

  • looks like a nice set up but it would take a month of sundays to do a whole house.

  • Best paint stripping tool in the world. Bought one last year and I will never use anything else. Ever.

  • Whats the song's name? great liquid-lounge-dnb!

  • Absolutely you can do it yourself! Read up on lead-safe work practices and search for speedheater.

  • Hi everyone I have a house that was built in the 20s and there is a lot of lead paint on the wood trim, doors, and windows that I would like to have stripped. Using the proper mask and a paint stripper like this, would it be safe to do myself? thanks!

  • just bought one and it's AWESOME!

  • I want one!!!!!!!

  • Horrible "music".

  • I've been shopping these heaters and their tools for a while now. I finally broke down and bought the heater kit. I also got a couple of their scraper tools for Christmas. Let me just say that this is absolutely the best way to strip paint. I will never use anything else. They are absolutely amazing and the scrapers are top notch. Very easy to use, not messy and very effective.

  • Remember the old quartz heaters that were around for a few years? Same heating element. You can make one for a 10th of the price of what these things cost.
