Off Road in a Scammell Explorer at War and Peace 2009 clip1

Come along with us in the legendary Scammell Explorer 6x6 heavy wrecker on day 1 of the heavy truck trials at the War & Peace Show 2009. An event organised over 2 evenings in the Americas field area. Thursday evening was over the humps, bumps, ditches and banks, axle twisting it's way through a course marked out by the Twickenham off roaders. Fridays is on the helicopter field, driving various stages including blindfold driving,slalom (towing your mate on a pallett through the course) finishing with the legendary Scammell race (oh,and this year the infamous scammell handbrake turn). This Explorer belongs to Jules who once again let me drive it. Thanks again Jules (a top bloke!)
The course was driven using only rear wheel drive except for one point where the grass was slippery when 6 wheel drive was selected just to climb a steep bank- that's all.
