Toronto, Ontario (Canada) -- The city's most decadent event of the year returns to Toronto for the 6th year, kicking off the month of Choctober with the premiere of a new consumer show dedicated entirely to chocolate and chocolate related products and services.
The festive 'chocolate season' starts off early this fall on "Chocolate Sunday", October 2 with the one-day Toronto Luxury Chocolate Show at Roy Thomson Hall. It will wrap up three weeks later with the highly anticipated Chocolate Ball Gala on Friday, October 21 at the Palais Royale.
Chocoholics, chocolate lovers and aficionados will have many events to choose from during the three weeks of festivities.
Expanded this year is the celebrity powered ChocElite Dinner which will be held on Saturday, October 15 at the Famous People Players Dinner Theatre followed by a Special Show Presentation by FPP and a Celebrity Chocolate Soiree.
For those wishing to relax and indulge, Chocolate High Tea will be served at participating locations (TBA -- check website for location announcements).
During the three week festival chocolate lovers can redeem their Chocolicious Passport coupons (downloadable at http://www.TorontoChocolateFestival.com) at many participating chocolate and pastry shops throughout the GTA (including Southern Ontario regions) where they can get 'free samples' and 'discounts" on holiday purchases.
Those wishing to visit some of the best chocolatiers in the GTA in style by stretch limousine may want to reserve space on a 3 or 5 hour limited Luxury Chocolate Tour.
