About the Ancient Hebrew Research Center

This is an interview between Dr. Timothy Sakach of "Lift up your voice" and Jeff A. Benner of the "Ancient Hebrew Research Center." In the interview Jeff describes his background and how he began his research into the Ancient Hebrew alphabet and language. He also discusses the Dead Sea Scrolls and a few of his books, "His Name is One," "The Ancient Hebrew Lexicon of the Bible" and "The Hebrew Text and Lexicon of Genesis."

After going to Jeff's site, I have doubts about this line of research: As a student of both Classical and modern Chinese, I know the dangers of this type of reasoning with regard to the root, pictographic symbols of a language. My doubts are bolstered by Jeff's lack of academic training. In order to be taken seriously as a critical scholar, it's important to first master the that which has gone before. If you are as as advanced in Hebrew studies as you claim, you could get a PhD in no time!

if jesus didnt come from david, and the bible says that the messiah will come from the lineage of Isai, Is there a translation error in Isaiah 11:1-5?

Mary and Joseph both came from David. He IS the line of David!

@ancienthebreworg True? I doubt it! Name such a college... and I won't be going there! They should know better. The language came before the letters and thus never depended on them.

@jalondeoreja according to the Even Bohan hebrew Matthew, Joseph is actually also the name of Mary's father... therefore completing the 14 generations there was supposed to be(when only 13 where actualy recorded) I suggest you watch a video called "The Raiders of the Lost Book" from Micheal Rood.

@ancienthebreworg . Because christians says that these verses talk about Yeshua. But my opinion is that Yeshua couldnt be the messiah because he was born form a virgin, so he couldnt be a son David. My question is if could be a translation error in Isaiah 11:1-5, or does christians forgot these verses? sorry for my bad english XD
