I actually thought naming your Umbreon "Slinky" was pretty clever, even though the word slink in that sort of context has made me think of a certain Strong Bad email where he "slinks on over to Bubs'" due to running out of multi-flavored chips. "Sliiiiink..." XD

Seriously, though, "slinky", when used outside the context of a metal spring that's fun to watch descend staircases, describes Umbreon perfectly. :)

@647yellow1 Well, in-universe, five years have passed between Colosseum and XD. I haven't gotten to this part in Colosseum or to Gonzap's appearance in XD yet, but I think that he's past the personal revenge thing against Colosseum's player character and is focusing entirely against Cipher. Plus, he has no past connections to XD's player character, so it's probably more of a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of thing.

XD is harder, but more fun :)

XD isn't THAT hard. The game doesn't leave you wondering what to do, you get more variation in Pokemon, Shadow moves are comparatively weaker (although there is super effectiveness, but it's negligible), and the AI is even worse than it is in this game, no joke.

I'm not trying to force you to play it, but it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I even did a mono-type run of it for fun with no trouble at all.

Also, it's weird how almost fatherly Gonzap is in XD. He's like evil here.

i remember that gyarados. In my first playthrough it didnt help that all of my team was weak to Earthquake and that Thunder always missed. Took me 10 times, mostly with luck screwing me over.

Well XD is harder, but it's also way more fun and entertaining. It also has more shadow pkmn, and they purify faster. Waaaay faster.

I played XD before I played Colosseum( ... ), and when I tried to purify Makuhita I was like: Why isn't he purified yet? :P
